I used to write by hand in blank-page notebooks occasionally accompanying entries with pen and ink drawings or watercolors but now I've gone digital, typing my entries in asp scripts and illustrating them with photographs. Both hard-copy and digital versions have their benefits but given my handwriting, the online version is certainly easier to read. In my journal I record hikes, bird-photography outings, rock-hunting outings, marathon running accounts, personal, family and work events, the weather, encounters with God and whatever else happens that I don't want to forget down the road.
