Bird Photos from Oct 2, 2011 trip to Nisqually and Westport, WA
Ed Newbold and I went birding at Westport with brief stops at Nisqually and Mud Bay on Oct 2, 2011. We hoped to find the reported Bar-tailed Godwits but narrowly missed them - until I looked at my photos and found them among the Marbled Godwits. Decent birding, good photo opportunities and great company. All photos taken with Nikon D300 using 200-400 f4 lens, ISO 320-640.
